Weather Watcher is a program that displays weather information of a city that you select from a list. On the displayed information you can see the hours of the day, the weather condition in every hour, the temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit, wind speed (mph) and its direction, etc.
Some key features of Weather Watcher :
- Auto update. You can select an option to set the interval at which Weather Watcher downloads the weather data from weather.com website.
- World maps. Sunlight, Current winds, Storm Tracker, Satellite and other maps can be accessed by right-clicking certain areas of the main Weather Watcher interface. You can also configure the current map to be use as a desktop wallpaper.
- You can see the local weather for thousands of cities around the world. A complete list could be found on the website www.weather.com.
- A lot of free skins can be downloaded from the author's web site.
- You can set up the look and feel of the Weather Watcher system tray icon. Customize how Weather Watcher will display information from the system tray icon, i.e., making a left single click, the program can refresh the weather information of the selected city, or visit the Weather Chanel, etc. |
